Since 2012 Mina Milk was engaged mostly in self-initiated projects, inspired by nature and animals. One of the outcomes was a series of performances in 2013. In these works animation met sound and dance in eye-arresting lecture about 6 of living species: mainland tapir, leopard, Adele penguin, blue footed booby, elephant shrew and giraffe. Later on these performances transformed into short twitter style captions of animalistic illustrations, kept on till now (fb blog). Another ongoing practice is precise zoological illustration that tends to go life-size – Mina Milk has a goal for nearest future to work with animal shapes accurately presenting the subject as it comes in real life.
